24th April 2010 Walking from Birchingon On Sea to herne Bay (note: I am using a new format for this set of pages. Each page will have just one picture with a caption underneath and navigation buttons to take you to the next picture. It should make loading a bit faster)

Page 1 of  32 This was the route I walked from Birchington On Sea railway station to Herne Bay railway station. There are a few small omisions from this plot. There was the distance from the railway station platforms to the measured end points, and a small unmeasured gap by the blue dot on the trace where I had a small snack and a paddle. I estimate that the real total distance I walked was at least 9.5 miles, and maybe a bit more (it certainly felt like it !). Click on the red arrows to move on to the next picture.
