  Yesterday was a brilliantly sunny day - sunny enough that I seemed to have started a summer tan (actually redness at the moment) already. For all that sunshine the temperature may have only risen to 17° C for a single hour, but I can't confirm that. The temperature was spoiled by a very strong breeze. It stayed dry all day long, and into the night.

  Yesterday started off quite dull, and it was forecast to rain. It looked like it might rain, but it turned out to be ompletely dry. The afternoon started with some sunny spells, and they turned to full sunshine after an hour or two. The afternoon temperature reached 16° C.  With some wind from the north east it did not feel as warm as 16° C should have. Incidently, that wind seemed stronger and colder in the morning as it came whistling through the slightly open window in the bathroom !

  A per the forecast, yesterday started out bright, and by 9am we had full sunshine. The afternoon temperature rose to a warm 20° C. From 7pm light rain was forecast. If any fell it must have been invisible rain !

  Yesterday didn't feature much full sunshine, but most of the day had sunny spells. The afternoon warmed up to a fairly nice 18° C. The wind was very light, and overall it was a nice day.

  Yesterday started with mist, but that soon lifted. By about 10am, and possibly a little earlier if you count weak hazy sunshine as sunshine, the milky grey sky broke up enough for some nice sunny spells that lasted until 5pm when there was full sunshine until sunset. At least that is what was forecast - I am unsure if the last bit was right. The late afternoon reached 20° C for perhaps a single hour, but there were more hours of 19° C. The wind was very light, and overall it was a nice day.

  Yesterday was a gloriously sunny day, except I am not sure if it was as sunny as the forecast predicted. I am sure I can remember times when the sun was obscured by a cloud or two. There was enough light wind to make the afternoon temperature of 15° C seem not as warm as expected.

  Yesterday started with nice sunny spells, but it was slightly dull from the start of the afternoon. The temperature still managed to reach  13° C in the afternoon.   Yesterday was very similar to the forecast. Most of the day was cloudy, but the sun did peep through a couple of times. Thr afternoon was warm with the temperature reaching 17° C for about 4 hours. Without sunshine it did not feel special, and it was worse than that. The sky was looking heavy and threatening during the afternoon, and to my eyes it looked like it might rain, and possibly even some thunder, but in reality it stayed dry. There might have been a shower at 11pm, but I didn't notice anything with the curtains closed.

  Yesterday was forecast to feature some light rain for the middle of the day day, and indeed there was some rain, but it was barely noticeable. There was no significant sunshine, but the afternoon still reached 16° C, By midnight it had only fallen to 11° C.

  Yesterday was supposed to feature light rain almost all day, and indeed there was some rain, but to my mind it was a lot less than forecast. In fact some of the forecast showers were actually sunny spells. The last hour of daylight was supposed to feature full sunshine, and although the sun was very low in the sky by then, I think it did happen. The afternoon temperature was forecast to be 16° C, and indeed it did feel quite warm.

  Yesterday started with some nice sunshine, but it didn't last. By the end of the morning there was enough, mostly, then cloud to make the day look a bit dull. The afternoon reached 15° C, and that felt pleasant despite no sunshine. By 6pm the cloud thickened a lot, but that did trap some of the warmth in, and it was still 13° C by midnight. There was no rain at all yesterday.

  Yesterday featured some non stop sunshine in the morning. Rain was forecast for the afternoon, and it did and didn't rain. I am unsure when the rain actually started to fall. It must have been so light that it was invisible, and maybe evaporated off the road before the road looked wet. However.....I can't quite remember when it was, but sometime around 2pm when I was startled by a big clap of thunder. When I looked out the window I saw the road was wet, but the sun was just starting to shine. The rest of the rain were replaced by sunshine and sunny spells. The afternoon temperature reached about the forecast 14° C.    It is nice and sunny as I write this, but by 11am it will cloud over. Unlike yesterday, it should stay dry today. The afternoon could see 15° C, but without even any sunny spells, it may not feel that warm. The cloud will get thicker in the evening, but still no rain is forecast until the early hours of tomorrow. Much of tomorrow could feature light rain or drizzle. The afternoon may still reach 16° C.

  Yesterday was a fairly good day. The most useful thing was doing some laundry (by hand - as usual). I also got some good news, although as I will explain again later, it might not be such good news. I made another online order, and this time it was not from Amazon, or any beer sellers.   Yesterday featured a lot of sunny spells, and even some non stop sunshine. The forecast rain didn't happen (although there was only a 33% chance of it). The afternoon reached 15° C for a single hour, but the wind made it feel a bit cooler when outside. By midnight the temperature had fallen to 8° C.   It is nice and sunny as I write this, but in a few hours the sunshine may turn into sunny spells. From 1pm there may be light rain, although the chance of rain only peaks at 54% (at 6pm) and is as low as 35%. Maybe there will be less rain that the forecast suggests. The afternoon temperature may reach 14° C, and if it is dry, and there is a bit of sunshine (which seems possible) it might feel OK. Tomorrow may start at just 6° C, but sunny spells are shown for the whole day, and the afternoon could see a quite warm 16° C.

  The temperature seemed to rise and fall several times yesterday. The morning started at 11° C, but then the forecast said it would fall to just 9° C at 11am. I am not sure if it actually did that, and I am pretty sure that not a drop of rain fell in the morning eiether (the forecast said drizzle all morning). The temperature rose to 13° C by 3pm, and maybe it was helped by some sunny spells,. From 6pm there was a fairly clear sky, and full sunshine - albeit with the sun very low in the sky. After the sun set the temperature dropped, but only to 9° C.   There is some nice sunshine as I write this, and the sky is mostly clear. There could be a little bit of cloud soon that will reduce the sunshine to sunny spells, but they may last for most of the daylight hours. A brief shower is forecast for 1pm, but the rest of the day should be completely dry The latest revision to the forecast shows light rain for 7 and 8pm. The afternoon may see 15° C for a single hour at 3pm. Tomorrow could be similar to today. The main change may be some light rain between 3pm and 6pm, but the forecast may change by tomorrow morning.

  Yesterday was a semi busy day - although maybe it was only 2 or 3 hours in the afternoon that were busy. After my very late night (3am or so before I got to sleep the night before) I felt in an extra lazy mood yesterday morning. It was not until after a quite light lunch, and a post eating rest, that I got on with the main work for the day - photo editing.   Yesterday was mostly dull, but the afternoon temperature did rise to 12° C. By 9pm, and still the same at midnight, and beyond, it had fallen to a very cool feeling 9° C.   This morning seemed brighter before I opened the curtains, but by then it was definitely dull outside. There could be sunny spells by 2pm, and maybe full sunshine for 6 and 7pm. It is currently 11° C, and so the forecast got that right, but it still seems dry, although I have to admit it looks like it could rain. If the sunny spells materialise this afternoon, then the afternoon temperature could briefly peak at 13° C at 3pm. From 8pm the temperature could be down to 9° C, and it will stay there until 5am tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning should see some sunshine, but only sunny spells after 10am. The afternoon temperature could still reach a fairly good 14° C. At 4pm tomorrow it could cloud over enough to give a single drop of rain, but the rest of the daylight hours should be dry with sunny spells (although much could change by then).

  Yesterday was actually a rather good day, but with a few bad bits as well. The really good, and some of the bad, was in the evening.   Yesterday was not as warm, and not so sunny as the previous day, but it was still nice day. The afternoon reached 20° C, but only for a single hour. By 3pm it had clouded over, but it was bright white cloud.By midnight the temperature had fallen to 9° C, and fell more later.
  The forecast shows today as being cloudy (except for a sunny spell at midday - if indeed it happens then). The cloud is generally thin white could, and at time it almost looks like the sun is about to break through. The afternoon is only predicted to reach 12° C, but with only a gentle breeze it should still feel OK for shorts and t-shirt if I go out. Despite the whole day being shown as cloudy, not a single drop of rain is forecast. Tomorrow looks to be a complicated day. It should start at a quite mild 10° C. There could be two peaks in the temperature - one at 10am when it could reach 12° C, but there could also be a drop of rain at the same time. The other at 4pm when it could reach 13° C. There could be sunshine and sunny spells from 4pm, but the sun will be too low to help warm things up.

  Yesterday was another of those days that was both good and bad, although more of it was probably just bland. There was also bad news, but nothing terrible. I did do something good, but also maybe foolish. The good was shopping, and the bad was eating stuff I bought.   Yesterday was warm and sunny. Definitely a day for just shorts and t-shirt. The afternoon reached an amazing 23° C (at least that was what was forecast, and I think it was probably right). Even by midnight, with a clear sky, the temperature was still around 15° C.   Today has started sunny, and by my reckoning it is already 17° C. Sadly the full sunshine will probably give way to sunny spells by 11am, and the afternoon may only see 20° C for a single hour. By 3pm we may lose any sunshine, and by midnight the temperature will have slowly fallen to 9° C. Tomorrow may start at just 7° C, and it is likely to be a slightly dull day. There may be a few sunny spells, and the afternoon may only reach 12° C. It should be dry all day today and tomorrow, but the day after that sees a return to rain - mostly light rain or drizzle.

  Yesterday could have been a far better day if I was feeling good, or confident enough to follow my original plan of a trip to the seaside. In my closing paragraphs yesterday, I mentioned that I was sure I would need another poo sooner or later. It actually turned out to be later.   Yesterday was another wonderful sunny day. The afternoon reached 19° C, and for the first time this year I opened my bedroom window for the whole afternoon. Even by midnight the temperature was still 11° C.   Today promises to be even better than yesterday. The sky is clear, and the sun has been shining since it first rose this morning. It should stay shining, non stop, all day. That could raise the afternoon temperature to a glorious 23° C according the BBC, or even 25° C according to the Met Office. Even tonight may be mild, perhaps 11 to 13° C. Tomorrow may not be as good, but still not too bad. Tomorrow should be dry, but the sunshine will be reduced to sunny spells, and even they may not last all day. The afternoon temperature should still reach 19° C.

   Only a few significant things happened yesterday. I had imagined I might do more, but it turned out to be only imagination. In one respect this is good because I have started writing so late that the less I have to write about, the quicker I can finish.   Yesterday was a wonderful sunny day. The afternoon only reached 14° C, but it was definitely t-shirt/no coat weather.
  Today will be like yesterday, only hotter ! After non stop sunshine the temperature is predicted to reach 19° C this afternoon, although maybe only for a single hour, but 18° C is very good too. Even this evening may be a little less cool with 11° C forecast for midnight. Tomorrow may be an even better version of today with the afternoon forecast to reach 24° C after another day of full sunshine. The day after tomorrow may still see 19° C, but it will see the return of rain, although possibly not too much of it.

   Yesterday was a very good day, but it did have a small downside. The warm weather was a big plus point, and a longer walk than recently was also very good, but the walk made me feel ravenous, and while I didn't get too carried away, I was not as careful with what, or how much I ate than would be ideal.   Yesterday afternoon featured lots of sunny spells. There were a few other sunny spells, but they tended to be brief. Rain was forecast for midday, but I am sure it stayed dry. The afternoon temperature reached 12° C - which didn't feel too bad in the sunshine. By midnight the temperature had dropped to 7° C, and we had a cold night.
  The Met Office forecast said 6am would be just 3° C, and that was probably right because I saw some frost on one of the shed roofs a few gardens away from here. Both forecasters agree that today will be very sunny, and indeed there is strong sunshine as I type this, but the sky is not clear. To the north there seems to be a lot of white cloud, and there is possibly only about 50% of the southern sky that is blue. Hopefully the clouds will "burn off" to leave strong sunshine for most of the day. That should raise the temperature to 14° C this afternoon, or even a brief 16° C according to The Met Office (the screen shot above is of the BBC forecast). Tomorrow could be like today, only better. The afternoon temperature could reach 19° C !

   Yesterday was a pretty good day. I did a little shopping, and I did a bit of exercise, and I did some laundry as well as clearing the kitchen sink of a very small backlog of washing up.   Yesterday was mild enough to go out without a coat, but there were only a few random sunny spells. It was dry all day, and the afternoon temperature reached 15° C. By midnight the temperature had dropped to a still mild 12° C.   This morning seems fairly dull, and by 11am there could be some light rain, but from 1pm it should be dry and we might see a few sunny spells. The afternoon will start at 11° C, but will go up a single degree after a few hours. By midnight the temperature may drop to just 7° C. Tomorrow morning may start as low as 4° C, and there is a slim chance of seeing a bit of frost. Much of tomorrow will be sunny, and the afternoon may see 14° C, and that should feel good in sunshine.

   Yesterday was, in the main, a good day, although a few bits were not so good. The highlight of the day was a couple of hours in the Jolly Farmers at lunch time.   The forecast said that yesterday would feature a lot of light rain or drizzle. I can't seem to recall seeing any rain, but maybe the road might have looked damp at one time. I do seem to recall a few brief sunny spells. The afternoon temperature reached 15° C, and it only fell to 11° C by midnight.   There may have been some brightness at 7am, but it has been dull since, and it seems most of the day will be dull except for the sunny spells that might happen at 3pm, 6pm and 7pm. The afternoon temperature should still reach 15° C for a couple of hours. It should stay dry, but there could be some drizzle at 1am tomorrow. Tomorrow should be mild with an afternoon temperature of 12° C. There may be some sunny spells, and the chance of rain is shown as very low.

  Yesterday started dull, but from mid afternoon there were some sunny spells, and they made the 11° C, that it had warmed up to feel quite warm. The day eneded almost the same as it started at 8° C.   Maybe we will be getting the traditional April showers, but this morning only drizzle is forecast, and there is no sign of that yet, although it does seem dull enough, and maybe the road looks like it had seen a tiny splash of rain recently. By 11am the drizzle may turn to light rain for a couple of hours. There may be a 2 hour dry break before light rain starts again at 3pm. From 8pm it may be dry for the rest of the day. The only positive thing, if it can be experienced without getting wet, is that this afternoon may see 15° C. Tomorrow may also see 15° C in the afternoon, and it should be a dry day, but any sign of the sun will probably be late afternoon.

   Yesterday could probably be called a good day. My beer delivery by APC was in the estimated 1 hour slot at about 2pm. That gave me time to unpack it all, and get most of the beers in the beer fridges, and also to cut up the box for the recycling bin.   There were some unexpected sunny spells yesterday afternoon, and it made it seem nice when I was walking through the park. They may have even raised the temperature a degree above the forecast 14° C. By midnight the temperature was down to 10° C, but also by then there were some quite heavy clouds to stop some of the warmth escaping out to space.
  I don't recall a sunny spell at 8am this morning. At the moment there are some bright white areas of cloud, and some darker cloud. The darker clouds suggest rain, but the forecast says today will be completely dry. The late afternoon may feature sunny spells. The day started at around 7° C, and rather than dropping to 6° C, as forecast for about now, my thermometers say it is just about 8° C. This afternoon's sunny spells may only raise the temperature up to 11° C, but that may feel OK when the sun is shining. By 10pm the temperature will have fallen to 8° C, but it may not drop much lower, and tomorrow will start at 8° C. It seems tomorrow will also start with some light rain or drizzle, and the whole day could feature a mix of light rain and drizzle. Tomorrow afternoon may reach 15° C, but the rain will spoil that.

  Yesterday was another day that seemed dry when the forecast said there would be rain in the morning. It was quite a mild day with an afternoon temperature of 15° C. The day was forecast to start at 9° C, and then initially fall to 8° C before rising again. By my reckoning it started closer to 11° C, and that is also how the day ended.   Today is forecast to be dull, and it is as I write this. No sunshine at all is forecast, but it should stay dry all day (my own barometer says rain is to be expected). It will be late afternoon when the temperature peaks at 14° C today. It looks like it should be almost a mild night, but the forecast says tomorrow will start at 7° C. Tomorrow will be dull until the afternoon when there could be some sunny spells. The whole day should be dry, and the afternoon temperature may only be 11° C.
