24th April 2010 Walking from Birchingon On Sea to herne Bay (note: I am using a new format for this set of pages. Each page will have just one picture with a caption underneath and navigation buttons to take you to the next picture. It should make loading a bit faster)

page 12 of 32 On and on I walked and gradually those twin towers at Reculver came closer and closer. Ahead was this large bay that I had to walk around. If I could have walked across (or in) the water it would have shorted my walk by a fre hundred yards. In the middle of the bay I did leave the promenade and walk along the waters edge for a while, but I wasn't ready to enter the water and have a paddle just yet. I did pick up a couple of interesting shells at this point. The best was a still joined pair of empty oyster shells.
