Walking from Birchingon On Sea to herne Bay

It's only a wild guess, but this is what may happen when a bigger rock starts to grind a much bigger hole as it whirls around in the water currents. Eventually it will grind it's way deeper and deeper, and over thousands of years will form the entrance to a series of caves or potholes. This I know definitely happens, but whether my picture here shows the same process is a matter of conjecture. It may just be a big rock with a dip in it.
