The BBC forecast, as shown in the screen shot above, says copious rain this morning. By contrast, the Met Office predicted a single light shower at 9am, and that didn't happen either. So far this morning has been dry and dull, but it feels almost warm at 20° C. The BBC predicts some sunny spells this afternoon. The Met Office predicts full sunshine this afternoon. One of them has to be right, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the Met Office is closer to the truth. The Met office predict 24° C, and the BBC 22° C. Both predict sunny spells, and 20 to 21° C for tomorrow.

  It would almost be true to say I did just one thing yesterday. Of course I did lots of little things, but the one major thing was a shopping trip to Savers and Poundstretcher.    I didn't notice any rain at 8am this morning. There is still time for a shower at 9am, and the sky does seem grey enough for a shower. We could be getting sunny spells soon, although the look of the sky suggests that part of the forecast is wrong. The light wind is coming from a warm direction, and so the afternoon could reach the forecast 25° C. By 9pm the clouds may be thick enough for rain, and although I write it off as a typical BBC weather fantasy, there could be a thunderstorm at 10pm tonight. Tomorrow could start wet, and there could be a thunderstorm at 10am, but the afternoon may start with sunny spells, and they could change to full sunshine in the later afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon could see 22° C.

  Yesterday was dominated by one and a half things. The whole thing was a walk to and from Aldi with a load of shopping on the way back. The half a thing was having a shower before I went out.  The sky is cloudy this morning, but some sunshine has seeped through, but maybe that was the last until possibly late afternoon. The afternoon may reach 19° C, without any sunshine it should be comfortable, but no more. Another shower is forecast for 11pm, but I'll probably be asleep then, and it won't matter. Tomorrow may feature a lot of sunny spells, and with a warm wind from the south we could see a pretty fair 24° C in the afternoon.

  Yesterday was another day where I had to amuse myself the best I could. I can't say it was a very productive day, but it was not wasted either. All I did, or could remember doing, is described in my complete archived page about yesterday, and that includes some notes about this morning.

 The sky is hazy this morning, and so what could be nice sunshine is a bit muted. We may lose even that in the afternoon, but the temperature may still climb to 22° C. The afternoon may be dull, and from 4pm there could be some light rain, but it may be dry after sunset. Once again, the temperature could be down to 13° C by 6am tomorrow. Tomorrow may see some sunny spells, but they will disappear by late morning. From 5pm it may start to rain, and some of the rain in the early evening could be quite heavy.

  Yesterday was not exactly a scintillating day. In fact there is very little to remember about it. The one project I started, I didn't even finish - yes, it was laundry again.   It is nice and sunny as I write this, but it is slightly diffuse sunshine because there is a lot of thin, semi transparent, cloud in the sky. It will only raise the temperature to around 20° C this afternoon, but that will still be very pleasant, particularly in any sunshine Tomorrow may start rather dull, and just 13° C at 6am. There may be a few sunny spells during tomorrow morning, but it will soon turn cloudy, and late afternoon may see some light rain.

  Yesterday did not include my fantasies, but was still good to a limited extent. I guess that was balanced by a bad night, but more about that later. Those fantasies were to do with going out for some railway photography. I did not go out at all yesterday.   This morning started off misty, or even foggy according to the Met  Office forecast, but I have seen nothing more than a hint of haze in the air. On the other hand, it is quite grey outside, and that gives a similar feel to it being misty. If the forecast was accurate the grey sky would be completely clear in about 15 minutes (as I write this) and we would be treated to full, glorious sunshine. That seems unlikely at the moment, but maybe it will happen a bit later. A high of 24° C is forecast for this afternoon, and that should feel very nice. Tomorrow morning may start (6am) at 13° C, but a day of full sunshine will raise the afternoon to 20° C.

  Yesterday had enough in it to have been a good day, but somehow, much of it was not that good, although I suppose none of it was bad except for the end results I saw this morning.   This morning started off even cooler than yesterday - a mere 12° C. It is currently bright and sunny, but will soon revert to sunny spells, This afternoon may only see 21° C, but that is still warm enough for t-shirt and shorts. I believe we have passed the Autumn solstice, and the days are getting very obviously shorter now, and the nights are getting colder. The small hours of tomorrow morning may be as low as 13° C, but there should be a lot of sunshine tomorrow, and the afternoon may see 24° C. It should feel like summer again....sort of.

  I am not completely sure why I didn't write anything yesterday. I had plenty of time, but I seemed unable to raise the enthusiasm. Maybe the biggest trouble was that I could not start in the morning, as usual, because I had a hospital visit.   Today has started with full sunshine, and there will be more before the morning is over, but much of the day will only see sunny spells. The afternoon may still reach 24° C. It should be a completely dry day. Tomorrow may only see sunny spells for the daylight hours, but we can still expect 23° C, and it will be dry all day long.

  Yesterday had it's good periods, but overall it was a bad day.  I should have checked my blood pressure far more often to prove a theory that my blood pressure was too low, and that often gave me dizzy spells.   This morning has started with clear blue skies, and it should stay this way all days. The non stop sunshine may only warm the place up to 22° C, but that is probably very good as we slip into autumn. Tomorrow may only see sunny spells, but warm winds from the south should raise the temperature up to 23° C.

  It seems I have messed up the dates in many of my last entries since coming out of hospital feeling all befuddled. I am trying to correct them as I go, but I can't find the enthusiasm to go through all entries in the last fortnight to try and correct the dates of every entry. The dates shown on the screen shots of the weather forecast are the best guide if there is any confusion.

  Yesterday was a good day, but I had hoped it might have been better. The highlight of the day was a walk in the park. Before that I had a shower, and I washed and conditioned my hair. That felt pretty good. It seemed to be a very slow morning, and it was not until 2pm before I went out. Maybe it was better than because it was about the warmest the day would be.   The sky is rather cloudy, but some nice rays of sunshine seem to filter through. It is very bright as I write this. It is almost like we are having the opposite of sunny spells - short dull spells. It is not very warm, about 16° C, but it doesn't seem to feel cold. For a couple of hours in the afternoon it may reach 19° C, and until sunset we should have full sunshine. It will remain dry. Tonight the temperature may get quite chilly. By 4am tomorrow it could be down to 12° C, and maybe 11° C by 6am. Tomorrow will be very bright and sunny, and that should raise the temperature to 21° C.

  I thought I had written something yesterday, but if I did it seems I either didn't save it, or saved it under the wrong file name in some obscure part of the file system. I have written a short piece today, and it can be read here.

  It is still rather cool this morning. My thermometers say it was just 14° C shortly before I started writing this. It is nice and sunny as I write this, or maybe it is just a very long sunny spells. The forecast shows a mix of sunshine and sunny spells. The sunshine will raise the temperature up to 19° C by 2pm, but after midday it will only be rather dull. From 7pm the temperature will have fallen to 17° C, and it looks like it may stay there through the night.There may be a tiny amount of sunshine tomorrow morning, but most of the day is forecast to be heavily over cast - lots of dark clouds, but no rain is forecast, and by 1pm the temperature may have risen to 21° C thanks to a warm breeze coming in from the west.

  My first couple of days since coming out of hospital are a bit of a blur. One thing I know I did was to have many snoozes. After so long with as little as an hours sleep at night (possibly more, but that is what it felt like), I took every opportunity to sleep.   I almost didn't have a record of today's weather forecast after getting up a bit late, and even then delaying until I refreshed the forecast and too a screen shot. Today's screen shot starts at 9am instead of the usual 6 or 7am. Today's forecast seems to be a bit pessimistic - Right now the sky looks very blue, and we have full sunshine instead of sunny spells. It is currently just over 15° C, and the afternoon may reach 19° C - not that warm, but comfortable enough. From midday we may lose any sunshine, the day is forecast to be dry all day long.  Tomorrow may reach 20° C, but the morning may feature some showers.

  Yesterday was my first day home from hospital, and while it was great to be home, I didn't feel very good at all. It seems one of the new drugs I have been prescribed is actively making me feel very hazy, and even a bit unsteady on my feet (but far from bad enough to cause me to fall over. I have written all I can remember about yesterday, and some of the days before, and it can all be read in my archived page about yesterday.

  This morning has started with nice sunny spells, and they will help to take the chill off this morning - it is only 12° C as I write this. By midday it will cloud over and most of the day will be dull, but it should stay dry today. This afternoon may reach 18° C, or just warm enough to leave off a coat provided I keep moving. The last couple of hours of daylight may feature sunny spells. Once again it looks like it is going to be a cold night. Tomorrow morning may feature sunny spells, but from midday it could get very dull. The afternoon may see 20° C, and from 10pm there may be rain.

  Yesterday was all about preparing for today. The main points were a slightly heavier lunch than in the last few days, and at 7pm taking my first dose of Plenvu - which is a bit like taking dynamite !   The forecast for light rain in the early hours was probably right because it was definitely pouring with rain when I woke up this morning. The heavy rain could last until 2pm, and then the clouds will start to clear. From 4pm we may get a glimpse of the sun through the last of the rain clouds. From 5pm we may see sunny spells, and at 7pm, just before the sun set we could see full sunshine peeping over the visible horizon. The best we may see this afternoon is just 17° C, and clear skies after sunset may see the temperature plummet to as low as 12° C by 5am tomorrow. At sunrise tomorrow we may have full sunshine for a few hours. The rest of the day may feature occasional sunny spells, but a few hours will be dull. Tomorrow could see a high of just 19° C, or 2 degrees higher than today.

  Yesterday was quite good - as the calm before the storm should be (the storm being my colonoscopy and gastroscopy tomorrow).   The forecast says it should be dull now, but we seem to have had long sunny spells,  although just as I wrote that the sun was blocked by mostly thin cloud. Most of the day will probably be dull, but the afternoon should still reach 23° C. Today should remain dry, but the early hours of tomorrow morning may see light rain or drizzle. It could continue through to 4pm, but after that there may be a few sunny spells, and just before sunset there could be full sunshine. Tomorrow may only see a high of just 19° C.

  Much of yesterday could be described as quiet. I did have a shower because I was thinking of going out for a walk (but didn't) and I was also expecting Jodie for a beer tastings session which also didn't happen.   This morning started off with sunny spells, but they will turn to full sunshine about now (11am). The afternoon should reach 25° C thanks to full sunshine. It should feel like summer again. Even tonight should be a bit milder than last night. Unfortunately it seems it might just be a one day wonder. Tomorrow should see 23° C, but there will be no sunshine, not even sunny spells, after about 8am. It should still be dry, but there may be rain in the early hours of tomorrow night (Tuesday).

  Yesterday featured two bothersome things, and they combined to make the first day of my 4 day low fibre diet to be not as low fibre as it could have been.   It was just 14° C at 8am this morning, but three hours later it is around 17° C thanks to a bright sunny morning. We are now losing the full sunshine, but sunny spells should continue until sunset. The afternoon should reach 21° C, and with the sunny spells that may feel quite nice. A clear night is forecast, and so the night will be chilly again. Sunny spells and some full sunshine should warm tomorrow up, and a high of 25° C is forecast - a brief return to summer !

  Yesterday was one of those days were so little of any importance happened that I find it hard to remember much about it. I'll try and remember a few things and write about whatever I can remember.   This morning has seen a bit of light rain, but it is dry again outside, and there is some hazy sunshine as I type this (at almost 11am). The forecast says this afternoon will be dull, but it will still reach 20° C. The clouds may finally dissipate around 8pm, and clear skies will mean a cold night. The temperature will have fallen to 15° C by midnight, By 6am tomorrow is could be just 13° C. Tomorrow will be very bright with most daylight hours featuring full sunshine. The afternoon may reach 22° C.

  Yesterday was generally OK, but like this morning, I got off to slow start, and didn't manage all I wanted to do yesterday. On the other hand I did do a few things that were very productive.   This morning feels mild enough, but the sky is grey. The afternoon may still reach 24° C, and it may feel a bit humid. Drizzle is forecast for 6pm, but with only a 37% of it happening, it will probably stay dry. Sunny spells are forecast for just 5pm and 7pm. Tomorrow may start off very grey, and there could be showers between 9am and 11am. The rest of tomorrow could be a lighter grey than today, and the afternoon may still reach 21° C.

  Yesterday, like the day before,  was good in places. I described my visit to the nurse yesterday when finishing yesterday's writing after I came back from the surgery.   It it fairly cloudy as I write this, and yet it still seems bright, but with no direct sunshine. There is a 47% chance of rain at midday, and it could rain. The whole day will be cloudy, and the afternoon may see a few hours of much thicker cloud, although no rain is forecast from those thicker, and darker clouds. The afternoon should still see 20° C, and that should feel OK. No need for long trousers yet ! Light cloud is forecast for tomorrow, but some sunny spells are shown. The worst chance of rain is shown at just 16%, and so it will most probably be a dry day. It will actually be a warmer day with 24° C by mid afternoon.

  Yesterday was good in places, and I don't think there were any actual bad bits. Apart from my walk to the pharmacy, and then Poundland, which I described yesterday, it was not a very productive day.   It has been nice and sunny this morning, but later in the afternoon the last bit of sunshine may finally be hidden by clouds. Today should reach 21° C again, but not until 2pm (which an hour earlier than the screen shot above, taken early this morning, says). There may be a couple of sunny spells late this afternoon/early evening, but apart from that it will be cloudy. That cloud may help the temperature stay a degree or two higher overnight. Tomorrow will be a dull day, but there is very little chance of rain. Tomorrow afternoon may only reach 20° C.
