  Yesterday was a nasty drizzly day, but contrary to the weather forecast, we did get a few sunny spells, and a few random hours seemed to be dry. The afternoon temperature reached 13° C, but under a mostly sullen grey sky it still felt chilly.
  It is definitely damp outside, but the light rain seems intermittent for now It may be more persistent later. It should/could stop at 2pm, and there might be sunny spells and then full sunshine just before the sun sets, and night descends at 5.38pm this evening. It is about 8° C now, and the afternoon high may be a still a bit chilly 9° C. Tomorrow may be a couple of degrees less cold, but the day may feature mostly light rain through all the day light hours, and probably before and after too.

  Compared to the day before, yesterday was quite disappointing. It was dull, and not that warm. On the plus side it was dry until some drizzle that was forecast from 9pm (but I didn't check that it actually happened). The afternoon temperature only reached about 13° C.
  It doesn't look like it has been raining recently, and we are having a sunny spell as I write these worlds. Maybe today's forecast is not very accurate ! The Met Office forecast is a bit different. It says no rain today, and sunny spells from 11am. It also says this afternoon will be a degree higher than the BBC forecast's 13° C. The Met Office says 14° C. My thermometers say it is already 13° C. I think we can probably write off the BBC, and to a lesser extent the Met Office forecasts as part hallucination, Maybe both were made by AI - which is well noted for spouting all sorts of utter rubbish. Tomorrow afternoon may be 10° C (as agreed by both forecasters), and there may, or may not be both some showers and sunny spells. (Please check the seaweed hanging outside the back door for a more accurate forecast).

  Yesterday was warm and sunny. The afternoon temperature reached a most pleasant 16° C.
  It is a shame that after yesterday's glorious sunshine, today will be dull all day long. No rain is shown, but there are a some hours when the chance of rain looks high enough that it seems bound to rain. Drizzle is shown from 9pm, and a recent update has added some light rain during the evening. The afternoon will only reach 13° C, but if sunny, that would be warm enough for no coat, and maybe shorts too. It looks like tomorrow will not only be a degree or so cooler than today, but there will also be rain, mostly just light rain, all day long.

  The forecast didn't show them, but here were some sunny spells yesterday morning. The afternoon may not have been so bright, but the temperature rose to 12° C. From mid afternoon sunny spells were shown in the forecast, and it seemed quite nice until the sun set at just before 5.30pm.
  This morning it has started sunny, and there should be full sunshine until sunset at 5.33pm (the days are slowly getting longer !) The afternoon temperature may reach a magnificent (for this time of year) 16° C , and the BBC weatherman did say that it could be a degree higher in last nights BBC News. It looks to be a clear night, and that usually means quite a drop in temperature, but tomorrow may start at 9° C. Tomorrow is currently shown as light clouds, blocking any sunshine, all day long. The afternoon may still reach 12° C, and it may start to rain from 9pm.

  The first half of yesterday was dry, but the afternoon was wet with either light rain or drizzle. The afternoon temperature reached 12° C
  This morning it looks damp, but it doesn't seem to be raining as I write this. Also, as I write these words, we are having a sunny spell. According to my thermometers the current temperature is just over 12° C - not quite enough to feel warm without direct sunshine, but neither is it cold.  The forecast actually say it won't be 12 ° C until 11am. From 2pm there should be more sunny spells. From 6pm sky should become clear, and the temperature will drop to 10° C for the night.  Tomorrow morning may start at just 9° C, but a day of sunshine should raise the temperature to 15° C in the afternoon. Hopefully that will feel like shirtsleeve weather.

  Yesterday started wet, but by 3pm the sun came out until it set a couple of hours later. The afternoon temperature reached about 13° C - that area between cold and warm.
  This morning it looks damp, but doesn't seem to be raining. It is fairly bright, and we have had a few weak sunny spells. If it were a bit warmer than 9° C right now it might even be described as almost nice.  By 1pm the temperature should have risen to 12° C, but that is also when the rain starts again. The forecast says all the rain will be light, or often it will be just drizzle. The temperature will drop a single degree from the afternoon high for about 5 hours, and then return to 12° C by 9pm. It seems like it will be dry all night, and the temperature will only have dropped to 10° C by tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is currently shown as being dry all day. By midday the temperature may have risen to 12° C. By 2pm there could be sunny spells until sunset at 5.31pm.

  Yesterday featured some sunny spells in the morning, and the temperature rose to 14° C by 2pm. That was also when it clouded over with quite thick clouds. By 5pm there was light rain for a few hours. I will admit that these observations are lifted straight from the weather forecast. I didn't go out yesterday, and so I paid almost no attention to what was happening outdoors.
  It is a very mild morning with the temperature around 12° C. Unfortunately there is light rain, which from indoors looks more like invisible drizzle that is making everything wet. That could continue until 2pm when the sun may break through the clouds. By 5pm we may see full sunshine - just as the sun sets ! Tonight may be dry, but the temperature wil fall to 9° C by midnight. That temperature may stay constant until 9am tomorrow, when it will start to rise to 12° C by the afternoon. Unfortunately tomorrow will be a grey day, and from 3pm there may be drizzle until mid evening, but the temperature may still stay up to 11° C.

  Yesterday was another damp and drizzly day. There was no sign of the sun at any time, but the afternoon temperature did reach 11° C for a couple of hours, but it was hardly noticeable indoors. The early evening rain did seem heavier than the light rain forecast, and I am not sure that it finished at 9pm as per what was forecast.
  I think that today I will use the Met Office forecast even though it is often very wrong, but today it is more optimistic. I particularly like the sunny spells shown for daybreak to midday. It is semi bright at the moment, but the clouds suggest the chances of sunshine are slim at the moment - except we have just had a brief sunny spell !

  Yesterday was both good and bad. The bad was actually very silly. I was fretting about going to a gig in the evening, and it was almost early evening when I finally realised that gig is actually tonight instead of last night. More about that later.   Yesterday was damp and drizzly. The sky was grey and the afternoon temperature only reached 7° C. On the whole it was not a nice day.
  Today is going ti be a bit brighter, but the chance of a glimpse of the sun seems very unlikely. A lot of the day will feature light rain. On the (almost) plus side, the afternoon could see 11° C. Tomorrow is also shown as being a dull day, but the afternoon may reach an almost, but not quite warm 10° C. Unfortunately it will be accompanied by light rain. Tomorrow could start at 9° C, which is not too bad, but the whole day will be grey with showers from about 4pm, that will continue into the night. The afternoon temperature may reach 13° C, but that will be spoiled by rain,

  Yesterday featured some good exercise, and I think I benefited from it. I also did a bit of useful housework. Apart from over eating a little bit, it was a good day.   Most of yesterday was dry and bright, and by bright I mean sunshine ! It was still a cold day with the afternoon only reaching 7° C, and the temperature dropped to just 3° C by 10pm.
  Once again it is definitely cold this morning, just over 3° C. Unlike yesterday it is grey and miserable. For the moment it is dry, but rain is forecast to start with drizzle at 2pm (the Met Office forecast says 4pm). The afternoon may only reach 5° C, and under a dark grey sky it is going to feel quite miserable. Tomorrow could see a high of 7° C in the afternoon, but it is currently forecast to be very grey, and rain may be falling at daybreak, and not stop until 6pm.

  Yesterday featured some good exercise, and I think I benefited from it, but today will tell if I did or didn't.   The middle of yesterday featured rain, but the ends were dry. The afternoon temperature, in the rain, reached 9° C.
  It is definitely cold this morning, just over 3° C, but it is nice and sunny. The sunshine should almost last until sunset, but the temperature may only rise to 7° C this afternoon. Tomorrow may start cold and grey, and by 2pm it could be raining again. There may be a brief peak of 6° C in the afternoon.

  Yesterday reverted back to being a wet day with rain almost all day long. It was also quite cold. The morning started at 4° C, according to my thermometers, and the late afternoon high was possibly just 8° C at 4pm.
  It looks damp outside, but as per the forecast, it doesn't seem to be raining. I can see blue patches of sky, and with luck we will get the forecast sunny spells this morning. Sadly, it seems that from 11am the rain will return, and continue until 7pm. It is currently just under 6° C. and if we are lucky the afternoon may see 9° C, but in the rain it doesn't mean much. By midnight the temperature may dip to 6° C, and the forecast says the sky will be clear by then. Tomorrow may start with a frost, although the air temperature is predicted to be 3° C at daybreak. It will warm up a bit, but not much, and the afternoon high may be just 7° C. It should be a dry day, and there could be some sunny spells to start with, followed by non stop sunshine. The first hint of rain could be at midnight tomorrow when it shows just a 10% chance of rain.

  After the excitement of Saturday, yesterday was rather dull. There was one thing I achieved that was more relief than satisfaction. Overall it was a typical Sunday - mostly boring !   Yesterday was cold and dry, and it was often bright and sunny. The morning started at 2° C, and the afternoon reach 6° C, but the sunshine made it feel warmer.   My thermometers said this morning started at 4° C, and maybe closer to 5° C. One thing the forecast got right is the rain. It is definitely wet now, and by midday we could see heavy rain. Today the highest temperature is forecast for 4pm when it may be a mere 8° C. It looks like the night, and tomorrow morning will be dry. There may even be sunny spells tomorrow morning. The afternoon high may be 9° C, but from 3pm light rain may resume.

  Yesterday was yet another wet day, but it was not as wet as the forecast predicted. There were dry spells dotted through the day. It was definitely a cold day with tyhe afternoon temperature only reaching about 8° C.   Last night ended on about 4° C, and this morning started at just 2° C. Oddly enough there didn't seem to be a frost this morning. The sky should stay mostly clear today, and so there should be plenty of sunny spells through all the daylight hours today. The afternoon high may only be 6° C, and so today is going to be perishing cold. By 7pm the temperature may have fallen to just 4° C, and by 1am tomorrow morning there could be some sleet. Tomorrow could start at just 3° C, and while I would expected sleet or snow, there will be light rain, and that rain could continue through the whole day. The afternoon high could be just 5° C, but there will be a mid evening peak of 8° C.

  Yesterday was quite a good day for a few reasons. Being able to be ultra lazy all day was a good reason, but unfortunately I couldn't be as lazy as can be because I had to do two things that were not lazy at all.   The forecast said there would be non stop rain from 10am onwards yesterday, but there were dry spells until early afternoon. After that the rain probably was non stop, and from late afternoon the rain was no longer light rain, but very heavy rain ! The rain continued into the night, but maybe it was back to light rain by then. It was a cool day with the afternoon peak only 10° C.   This morning is another morning when the weather forecast doesn't quite match reality. The ground is wet, but if it is still raining it is so light that I cannot see it. The current temperature is just over 8° C, and I suppose that is only a single degree higher than the forecast. It seems that most of today will see rain, but most of it will be light rain, and the early evening may only see some drizzle. We may have reached the afternoon high already - it is forecast to be just 8° C. Tonight the temperature may fall to just 4° C. Tomorrow could start at just 2° C. That would be low enough for snow, but it seems most of tomorrow will be dry with sunny spells. Sadly it will still only peak at 7° C at 2pm (maybe). At midnight tomorrow there could be some sleet.

  Yesterday was quite a good day for a few reasons. One reason was that I finally went shopping in Aldi. More on that later. The evening featured a beer tastings session with Jodie and Michael.   There was less rain than yesterday's forecast predicted.  There was also more sunshine as well. Around lunchtime it seemed quite sunny, although it may have still been raining. The afternoon reached 12° C, and that didn't feel that bad in the sunshine. The rain started again sometime after dark, and by midnight the temperature had only dropped to 9° C.   This morning has ben quite bright, and that included some sunshine. The road outside looks like it has only seen a light sprinkle of rain earlier on, and as per the forecast it is not raining for now. Light rain could start at 11am, and continue into the night. The afternoon temperature will be a few degrees less than recently at just 10° C. It will probably fall to just 7° C by midnight. Tomorrow is currently forecast to have light rain or drizzle the whole day long, and it is going to be cold. The afternoon is predicted to be just 8° C. Friday night/Saturday morning may be cold enough for sleet, and possibly snow, but the forecast will probably change before that happens.

It was not a good day, or wasn't good until I was safely home and had some rather nice food after my almost 24 hours of fasting.   I could almost repeat what I repeated yesterday - yesterday was another rather wet day with the rain lasting from dawn to dusk. It was generally light rain. The afternoon temperature reached 12° C for a couple of hours. By midnight it was still 10° C.   The weather forecast for today has not actually been very accurate. It is true that the morning was around 11° C, and the afternoon (or now as I write this) is around 12 or 13° C. There was less rain than shown for this morning, and as I type this we are having quite a lengthy sunny spell. It is hard to tell if it is raining at the moment. The road is definitely wet, but I haven't experienced any rain apart from a minute or two of light rain around 11am. 4pm is definitely shown as dry with sunny spells, but light rain may start again at 5pm. By midnight it could be just 9° C - which doesn't seem that bad. Tomorrow morning may start and end at 7° C. It may start dry, but from 10am there could be light rain for the rest of the day. The afternoon temperature may be just 10° C - which seems a bit poor after today, but seems typical recently.

  Yesterday was not a great day. I think I only did one thing of note, and that I'll describe a bit further down the page. Much of yesterday was to do with fasting after lunch, and only drinking plain water from later in the afternoon. This was all to do with the headline feature today - my endoscopy.   What I said about the day before yesterday is exactly what I will say about yesterday - Yesterday started with the road outside looking wet, but there was no rain until about 6pm, and that was only light rain. The afternoon temperature was 11° C.   There were a few times when the sun came out, or at least half came out, but yesterday was another rather wet day. Almost non stop light rain all day long according to the forecast. If today is anything like yesterday, then we could get some hours that are mostly dry. The afternoon should peak at 12° C, and in sunshine that could be almost short sleeve weather. Tomorrow could see a brief blip to 13° C at 2pm, but like most days this month, there will be light rain from dawn to dusk.

  Yesterday was quite a good day for a variety of reasons. Expecting deliveries can be a bit of a bore, and means that there is a lot I can't do because I have to keep an ear out for the doorbell. However once the deliveries arrive everything is great, and it wasn't just getting my deliveries that made yesterday good !   Yesterday started with the road outside looking wet, but there was no rain until about 6pm, and that was only light rain. The afternoon temperature was 11° C.   It looks like there was rain during the night because the road looks wet again. It is currently about 8° C, and the afternoon should reach 11° C. Like yesterday the first rain today could start at 6pm, and although the clouds are shown as black, only light rain is expected to fall.  The rain, still staying very light, is forecast to continue through the night, and with a few dry hours, through most of tomorrow. Tomorrow afternoon could see 12° C.

  Yesterday had it's ups and downs. I did get to Tesco, and that was good. The afternoon beer tasting session was not good. Inn the middle I had a snooze or two, and dared to eat some forbidden (while I am not taking Mounjaro) foods - and I almost got away with it.   There was light rain from early morning until about 7pm yesterday. There were a few times in the lateb morning when it seemed to brighten up, but it didn't look like the very light rain actually stopped. From midday to 8pm the temperature was forecast to be 10° C, and I think that was about right. With the grey sky, rain and puddles it still felt like it was very cold outside.   The road looks very wet outside, but no rain is shown in the forecast until 6pm. Even then it will be light rain or even drizzle. The afternoon should be a degree higher than yesterday at 11° C. Apart from a colder start, 7° C, tomorrow is currently shown as identical to today.

  Yesterday was not a bad day, but it was a day when not much happened. I guess that should have made it restful, but somehow doing very little didn't feel restful on this occasion. A few things are worth describing, and my day is more fully described in my complete archived page for today.

  Yesterday was another wet day, but there did seem to be an hour or so when it was not raining and it was brighter out, although that is not shown on the forecast for the day. The early morning version of the forecast showed two hours when thunder might be expected. That was reduced to one hour, and in reality there was no thunder at all. The afternoon temperature reached a still rather cool feeling 11° C.   Yet another day when the forecast says rain all day, and it has certainly been raining since I first opened the curtains this morning. The afternoon may reach a cool 10° C. It might possible be dry after 7pm. Much of tomorrow may be dry, but it will stay very dull. The afternoon may reach 11° C. Rain is forecast to start again at about 7pm, and initially it may be just drizzle.

  Yesterday started out quite unpleasant. I was very uncomfortably constipated, and I spent a lot of time sitting on the toilet. I think it was just before midday when things finally moved, and I felt so much better for it - even if my bottom still felt sore. The rest of the day was pretty fair, and maybe even slightly good.   Like most days this february (or so it seems at the moment) yesterday was a wet day with mostly light rain all day long. It was also quite a cold seeming day. The morning was just 7° C. There was a brief peak of 10° C mid afternoon, but the rest of the day was just 9° C.   The (BBC) weather forecast for today has changed a few times. Last night it gave two different hours when there might be some thunder and lightning. The very latest revision shows no thunder at all, just light rain from early morning until 8pm. After that it may be dry. The afternoon may reach 11° C after a 9° C start to the day. After the afternoon the temperature will sink to maybe 8° C by midnight. The current forecast for tomorrow shows rain from the start to the end of the day. It will be light rain until 8pm, and then just drizzle. The temperature may be almost the same as today.

  Yesterday was a good day, but not as good as hoped. For instance it would have been better if I had managed the shopping trip to Tesco that I would have liked to have done. I didn't go out mostly on account of the rain, but some of the reason was doubts about how I would feel as I "run in" my new heart valve.   Today is shown as being wet all day long - not a great forecast for my latest first day out of hospital ! It is looking quite wet outside, although it is only light rain. The forecast says there will be non stop light rain from before dawn and for well after it. Maybe the temperature may see 10° C for a single hour this afternoon. The morning is like yesterday, just 7° C. After the afternoon high the temperature will settle to just 9° C for the rest of the day. Tomorrow is currently forecast to feature light rain for the whole day again, but it may be a tiny bit warmer. the morning my be 8° C, and the afternoon may see 10° C for a few hours before it falls back to 9° C for the rest of the day.

  I have other hospital appointments coming up, but all are single days. Today I am finally home from the main event - which felt like as much as a week, but was only 2 days (or two nights). My last couple of days are described more fully in my complete archived page for today.

  This morning has started wet, but some hours this morning may be dry. The afternoon will continue to be wet, but from 5pm it may be dry until some drizzle falls at 1am tomorrow morning. Like nearly all afternoons recently, it will be 9° C.  The ends of the day may be 7° C. Tomorrow is going to be cold. The day will start and end on 5° C, and the afternoon may see 6° C. There will be light rain all day long.

  Yesterday was good in parts. Being very lazy was the best part ! Having a shower was a good part too, but most of the rest of the time was nothing spectacular, and that included the Sunday afternoon beer drinking session. Maybe some cooking I did was quite good.   This morning it is wet, and the forecast says it is going to be wet all day long. The only semi good thing is that only light rain is forecast. This afternoon will be a whole degree cooler than the last 5 or 6 afternoon. Just 9° C. It looks like it is going to be quite chilly tonight with just 5° C at midnight. It will still be 5° C tomorrow morning, and it is going to be another wet start. It could be dry my midday, and the temperature will reach it's peak by then, just 9° C.

  Yesterday was a good day - although mostly because I went out shopping again. The rest of the day was pleasant, but nothing exciting. Although I did think I ate a bit too much.
