  This morning was forecast to start at 4° C, but it was closer to 6° C. The odd thing is that the temperature seemed to drop a degree after sunrise. The high this afternoon may reach 7° C. It should be a dry day, and there may be a scattering of sunny spells, mostly before the afternoon. As I write this we have had full sunshine for at least the last half hour, but some cloud has now dimmed the sun, although there is still a blinding patch of sky where the sun is. At the moment the sky is very patchy with areas of thin looking cloud, but also some blue areas as well. If the forecast is right the cloud will thicken enough to block any sunshine by 2pm, but it could be white cloud, and so not gloomy outside. It looks like it will be a very cold night with just 2° C from 11pm (the forecast has just been revised). By 4am tomorrow it may be 0° C, but by 6am it may be back up to 1° C. Tomorrow morning should be bright and sunny, but that will only raise the temperature to 7° C again. Later in the afternoon there could be light rain or drizzle.

  Yesterday was a day that often hovered between bad and good. The bad was mostly that I often did not feel very good, but the good was that evidently I did feel good enough to complete two jobs I had said I wanted to get done.   It was still 6° C this morning, and it is now 7° C. There has been enough light rain to make the road look wet outside, and maybe the light rain will continue through to sunset. The evening and night may be dry. Once again it seems it will be 6° C through much of the night, but tomorrow could start at 5° C. It should be a dry day, and there may be a scattering of sunny spells.

  Yesterday was a day that started bad, but by mid to late afternoon it was quite a good day. There are a couple of reasons it started bad, and I shall try to explain them further down the page, but the simple reason was a health sort of problem, and as I have just remembered, a gas bag on the phone that spoiled the start of my afternoon.   This morning started almost warm, and later on it will be even closer to warm when the temperature rises to 10° C. Once again this almost-but-not-quite warmth is accompanied by light rain. That may stop by 1pm, and we might have sunny spells followed by pure sunshine. Actually, when I look out the window as I write this, I see some bright sunshine, and lots of blue sky between some white clouds. There could be more sunny spells, and less rain than forecast. The forecast for tomorrow looks similar to the forecast for today (but maybe not today's reality). The temperature tomorrow could be 7° C for most of the day, and there may, or may not be, copious light rain....or not.

  Once again, yesterday was both good and bad, but which was which depends on the actual definitions of what did and didn't happen. In terms of how I felt it was probably a good day, but there was stuff I wished I could have done, but didn't.   This morning started at 5° C after warm(ish) wet air moved in over night. Today will see a lot of light rain. The afternoon should see 7° C, but it will go up after the afternoon, and from 8pm until midnight it could be 8° C. Tomorrow could be a very mixed up day. There maybe generally light rain until midday (but 10am could see heavy rain). The afternoon could be dry with some sunshine. It will be a slightly warmer day than lately with 10° C in the afternoon.

  I'm not sure how to describe yesterday. It might have been good or it might have been bad. It probably depends one which end you are looking at it from.  One thing is for sure - not a lot of stuff got done yesterday. Maybe more will get done today.   There was (and still is) a frost this morning, and I am sure at least one of my outside thermometers said it was below zero when I first looked. They now agree on about 2° C, and that matches the forecast. It is very sunny right now, and the full sunshine should last until sunset. All that sunshine may only warm things up to 5° C for three hours this afternoon. Tonight will be another very cold night......or maybe not. I made an incorrect assumption, but it seems some warmer air will come our way through the night, and the temperature will rise again to 5° C by 7am. Unfortunately that warmer air, which could give 8° C by the afternoon, is wet air, and there could be showers for a lot of tomorrow.

  Yesterday was not a good day for a couple of reasons. The main reason was a health problem. I think it was caused by my cold walk through the park the day before. I complained then about the chilly air causing me some chest pains. Yesterday it was almost like I had 'flu. I am sure it was not 'flu, but the aches and pains were quite similar.   If the sun was a bit higher in the sky it would be sunny as I write this. The forecast says it should be sunny, and the sky seems just about clear. That clear sky means that it is below zero at the moment, and it was still dropping a little while ago, but I think it has stopped falling now. The worst of my thermometers shows -1.3° C (yes, minus !). I can see bright sunshine on the top of the flats on the other side of the railway, and soon we should see sunshine on the road outside, but it may only last until 10am. After that there should be sunny spells until sunset. This afternoon's high will be just 4° C. After sunset it will only drop to 3° C, and will stay there until it drops to 2° C in the early hours of tomorrow. There could be a lot more sunshine tomorrow, but the afternoon may only warm up to a chilly 5° C.
 
  Yesterday was another day that was good and bad. Maybe it should be described as more bad than good on account of the cold. It could be said there was only really one bad thing, and even that turned out to be not so bad - apart from the cold and very windy weather.   Yesterday was chilly, but dry - today will be even chillier and very wet. The version of the forecast for today from 3 or 4 days earlier suggested some of this morning's rain would fall as sleep, but as far as I can see it is just light rain as I type this. This afternoon should/could see just 5° C, but after 3pm the temperature will start to drop to just 1° C by 11pm tonight. Clear skies mean tomorrow may start at minus 1° C, and the day may only warm up to 4° C, but it could be quite sunny until maybe 2pm. Then it will be dull, but probably dry for the rest of the day. By midnight it will still be 3° C.

  Yesterday was one of those days that was both good and bad, but not that bad, and not that good, but maybe a bit more good than the bad was bad. The bad was mostly a wasted walk to the Pharmacy who did not have the 7.5mmg version of Mounjaro that had been ordered for me to collect yesterday.   Today has started with a frost ! It is dull now, and the forecast for sunny spells later this morning seems to be a bit dubious. Once again it should be a dry day, but it is going to be even colder than yesterday. The afternoon high may only be 7° C, and it is going to be dull and miserable. Tomorrow is going to be very cloudy, and that will make for a slightly less cold morning. It should start at 5° C, and then drop to 4° C. There may be two more brief peaks at 5° C, but that is the best tomorrow can offer. There could be a lot of light rain tomorrow, and originally it was shown as falling as sleet, but now it just shows rain. The temperature could be down to 1° C by midnight tomorrow. It is only mid November, but it is looking like mid winter !

  Yesterday was quite a good day overall, albeit with the slight problem that I did not have enough time to write a full account of everything. I expect what I didn't write about was probably not worth writing about.  This morning I will pick up the thread from after seeing the nurse.   Today has started very cold, just 5° C according to my thermometers, and the forecast predicts a high of just 8° C this afternoon. One positive thing is that as I write this we are having a sunny spell. The forecast shows many more, and that may go some way to lessen the impact of the cold during the day, but tonight the temperature may drop to just 4° C. and by tomorrow morning it could be down to 3° C. That seems cold enough to cause some frost on cars parked on the south side of the road, and which will be in permanent shade all day long. Tomorrow should see an afternoon high of just 6° C, and by 8pm it will be down to 4° C again. It should be completely dry tomorrow, and that is just as well because those morning and even temperature could be low enough for sleet or snow. That may well happen on Thursday morning !

  This morning I have an appointment with the nurse. It is mostly just monitoring how I am doing, and if my Mounjaro (self injected) injections are doing anything to cause weight loss. They are not, but Mounjaro is still regulating my blood glucose really well. My weight this morning is 400gm higher than when I first started taking Mounjaro ! For various reasons I never managed to finish writing yesterday, but all I wrote can be seen at my archived page for today.

  Despite the forecast saying drizzle all morning, it is currently dry, and the road and pavements outside are starting to look dry. It is also currently 11° C, 2° C higher than the forecast says it should be. Of course it still feels quite chilly. The sky is looking rather dull, but I am not sure if it will rain or drizzle as per the forecast. By 2pm it should "officially" be dry, and then the temperature starts to drop. It looks like it could be a cold night at just 7° C, but there is worse to come in a few more days. It is worth noting that although the forecast shows no rain after 2pm, it still shows a small chance of rain ranging from 29% down to 14%. Tomorrow should start dry, but at 6am the temperature could be just 6° C. With a bit of wind chill it could feel as low as 3° C. If it were really as low as 3° C it would be cold enough for sleet and snow. That could be a reality on Thursday 20th !

  This morning I had a technical accident, and I am having to write this all over again - or try to. I doubt this will say word for word of my original version, but the important bits will be the same.   The forecast shows light rain for the whole day, but it is not raining as I write this, and like yesterday there may be odd hours without rain. Ignoring the fact that my thermometers say it is now just over 13° C, only two temperature are shown in the forecast - most of the day will be a flat 11° C, but it will fall to just 10° C at 7pm. Tomorrow could be up to 3° C cooler than today, and drizzle is forecast for most of the day.

  Yesterday was an odd sort of day. It was generally good, but it was another day when I felt tired, and I did not feel very dynamic. I did some important stuff - eventually.   Last night's rain continues this morning, and won't stop until Sunday - over 48 hours of rain, and a lot of it will be heavy rain. I think it is going to have some interesting effects on the river through the park. Today will be either 12 or 13° C, and no other temperature - maybe. Tomorrow may be a degree or two cooler, and it will rain from before dawn until the next day with no gaps - also maybe.

  Yesterday was a fairly good day.   The forecast says this morning has started at 14° C, but my thermometers say it is currently 13° C. This is probably because the sky is clear enough to allow some nice morning sunshine through. It is currently dry, and it doesn't look like there will be any rain in the immediate future. Very little sunshine is shown in the forecast, and I suppose we need to enjoy the bit we have now. 1pm is shown as having sunny spells, and is when the temperature may briefly peak at 16° C. By the end of the afternoon the temperature may drop to 13° C, and it will soon start to rain. The weather warning is for heavy rain from 10pm tonight. It will continue through all of tomorrow, and the day after will still see the tail of it, but that may be just light rain or drizzle.

  Yesterday was disappointing. Although I had only lost a couple of hours of sleep the night before (as described yesterday), I seemed to feel so tired. I could not find the enthusiasm for a few things I thought I would do. On the other hand, if my intention had been to be very lazy, it was a very rewarding day.   The forecast says today will start with showers, but the last couple of hours have been sunny. There is a lot of thin cloud with plenty of blue patches in it, and it looks like this sunshine could last for some time. The only full sunshine actually forecast for today is shown for 3 and 4pm. Most of today will be 14° C, but the afternoon could be 15° C.  The temperature will drop a single degree, back to 14° C, and stay there all through the night. Much of tomorrow will also be 14° C, but once again the afternoon should see 15° C. There could be light showers at random times tomorrow, but from 8pm it could turn to heavy rain.

  Yesterday featured a few things worth noting, but it was hardly an exciting sort of day - except maybe a shopping trip. Then again, it also featured a lot of lazing around, and probably a snooze or two.   This morning started off wet. It must have been raining during the night, and maybe only stopped just before sunrise. It also seemed to have warmed up a bit. It was 9° C at 1am, but at 7am the forecast said it should be 11° C, and I think that was about right. It still looks damp outside, but I haven't seen any rain falling. Maybe it is so light that it can't be seen, and can only be felt.The temperature should rise to 15° C by 1pm, and the forecast says no more rain after that. By 3pm we may get some sunny spells for a couple of hours. By 5pm the sun will have set, and there can't be any sunny spells. Rain my resume at 10pm, and it may start with drizzle. The rain may continue all night, and then through to midday tomorrow. 1pm may be the first hour with no rain, and it should stay dry for the rest of tomorrow. Like today, there will be a couple of hours at 15° C, but most of tomorrow will be either 13° C or 14° C,

  There were several things I thought I might do yesterday, but I only did one of them. Yesterday was awfully grey and wet, and that ruled out any outdoor activities. I didn't even want to take the rubbish out to the wheelie bins !   It was raining earlier this morning, but seems to have stopped for now. It might, but probably won't, resume with a thunderstorm. It doesn't feel like thunderstorm weather today, and it is probably just the BBC having another chuckle. I think it is closer to 14° C as I write this, instead of the forecast 13° C. What ever it really is, it seems it could stay constant until sunset when it will slowly fall to 10° C, and then after midnight it may fall to just 9° C. From 6pm it may be dry.  By 6am, tomorrow morning, the temperature may be 10° C. It is forecast as being a very dull day, but the afternoon temperature should reach 14° C. Tomorrow should be mostly dry until 8pm when the rain will initially start as drizzle. It will get a bit heavier, but not much. At midnight tomorrow, the temperature may rise to a slightly warm 15° C !

  Yesterday was one of those days where much of it was sort of bland, and lacked any triggers to hang memories on. I had to double check that I am talking about yesterday, and not some other day, but one obvious memory was a shopping trip to Tesco, but then, apart from lunch, it all went bland again until beer drinking time later in the afternoon.   This morning the temperature a fraction under 8° C, but the forecast says it should warm up to 14° C by midday, but no higher. We have had some nice sunny spells this morning, and they may continues until sunset (ignoring 3pm which may not have a sunny spell in it). From 8pm there could be light rain, and it could continue, almost non stop, until 9pm tomorrow ! The only slightly good thing is that tonight, through to 3pm tomorrow could be a constant 13° C. Tomorrow will see light rain almost all day, but at midday there could be a thunderstorm (but this is probably the BBC hallucinating again).

  Yesterday was a bit of a disaster, or at least that is how it ended up. Most of the day was far from glorious, and my intention of going to Tesco never really happened. I am not sure why it didn't happen - maybe I just didn't feel like it or something.   A lot of mainly light rain was forecast for yesterday, but I can't seem to recall seeing more than few times when the road outside looked slightly damp. I'm sure I remember at least one sunny spell ! The temperature seemed quite mild, and the forecast for mostly 13° C, and with an afternoon high of 15° C seemed about right.
  This morning it seems closer to 14° C than the 12° C shown in the forecast. It is a bit dull though, although not dull enough to be called gloomy. I can see some blue sky almost overhead on the north side of my house, and maybe later there could be a gap in the clouds that will let in the sunny spells at 3 and 4pm - hopefully earlier (and later). If it is almost 14° C now then maybe there is hope that the predicted high of 14° C at 2pm might be a degree or two higher. Tomorrow may feature more sunny spells, and even an hour or two of full sunshine. Much of the afternoon may be 14° C, and in any sunshine that could still feel quite nice.

  Yesterday was not a great day, and some of it was slightly depressing, but I did do one very useful job. That useful thing was some laundry, but that was about the limit of the day.  Less definite, but it seemed to work, was to control my diet.   Yesterday was one of those days when it looked very dull outside, and so I didn't really look outside very often. I may have missed the forecast rain. My feeling is that there was less rain than in the forecast. The afternoon was forecast to be dry, and it most probably was.The temperature reached 16° C for a couple of hours. Much of the day was 14° C, and so possibly mild feeling thanks to there being only mild breezes.   There has been no rain yet, although the sky, as seen out my front windows does look disgustingly grey. The view from the back of the house is or was looking much brighter, and I could see a strip of blue sky in that direction. It may be we are between two weather systems, and it might rain or it might shine depending on which way the wind blows in the upper atmosphere. My weather stations say it is already 16° C, but the two units with barometer functions say it is definitely going to rain today. The afternoon high is shown on the forecast as just 15° C, but if it is already 16° C...... Most hours today are shown with at least a 40% chance of rain, and it seems there is no denying it will be raining sooner or later.  Tomorrow may be a cooler day. Just 13° C is predicted for the afternoon high, but the current forecast for tomorrow says there may be sunny spells for most of the daylight hours.

  Yesterday was probably described best with one, almost meaningless, word - Satisfactory. There was nothing particularly good about it, but there was also nothing bad about it. Staying in all day would have isolated me from a few of the bad things - like some rain, if indeed it did rain while I was not looking !   Yesterday was quite nice. The afternoon temperature was  16° C, and the rest of the day was 15° C. There were sunny spells for all daylight hours, but sometimes the sunny periods were a bit short compared to the grey periods.
  This morning is supposed to feature light rain, but at the moment it is dry, but a bit dull. The sky is a light grey colour, but it doesn't really look like the sort of sky that rains. This morning seems to have started at close to 16° C than the forecast 14° C. Maybe this afternoon may see 18° C if we are very lucky, but maybe it will be just a drizzly 16° C as the forecast shows. From mid afternoon it may just be grey but dry for the rest of the day. Tomorrow mqay start at 13° C and some light rain. It is looking like tomorrow may not be that nice - most hours are shown as either light rain or drizzle, and the temperature may only reach 15° C.

  Yesterday was mostly a good day, and of course the weather did help make it that way. I had a nice walk, and it was, as hoped, quite comfortable wearing shorts. I did not really expect to wear shorts in October, let along November. This month should be the season of frosts and fogs, but it is looking like it might be quite benign.   Until mid to late evening, yesterday was dry, but even then there was only some light rain that seemed to pass unnoticed (it may not have even happened !).  There were a few sunny spells, but most of the day was grey. The early afternoon temperature reached 15° C for a few hours, and then it cooled just a single degree until it went back up to 15° C at around 9pm.   It must have been 15° C all night because that was the temperature first thing this morning. It has now risen to 16° C, and if we get the forecast sunny spells it may feel almost pleasant in the afternoon. Only 9am is shown with a very low, 17% chance of rain, and the rest of the day is shown as 0% chance.  Tomorrow may start at 15° C, and there may be some light rain. The afternoon should see 16° C. It should be dry, but hardly any sunshine is expected for all of tomorrow.

  Yesterday was not a very exciting day, and some of it was a bit boring, but I did do a couple of useful things. One of those things came close to some bad consequences, but I almost got away with it. There was some minor excitement when I went out shopping.   Yesterday started damp, but at 12° C it was not very cold. The afternoon featured some sunny spells, and the temperature briefly peaked at 16° C. At sunset the temperature fell to 14° C, and it stayed close to that all night long.
  Despite what the forecast says, I feel sure I saw at least one brief sunny spell this morning, and maybe more, but it is very definitely grey outside as I write this. The temperature seemed to stay flat through the night, and today started where yesterday finished at 14° C. The temperature may rise to 15° C at 11am, and then fall back to 14° C at 2pm. There may be a couple of sunny spells this afternoon. From 4pm no rain is actually shown, but the chance of rain rises to 15%, and then slowly rises until it hits 50% at 8pm when rain is actually shown on the forecast. Tomorrow may start at 15° C, but rise to 16° C for the afternoon. It will then drop back to 15° C. A lot of tomorrow may feature sunny spells.

  Compared to the day before, yesterday was a rather boring day, although that is not to say it was a day when I did nothing. I must admit I didn't do much, and I probably only achieved one important thing. Maybe that could be broken down to several smaller, but linked things.   After a damp start, yesterday featured some nice sunny spells, but with the temperature only peaking at 12° C (according to the forecast, but maybe a degree or two higher in reality), it was not really a warm day - at least a bit cold for walking without a coat ! By 9pm the temperature dipped to a forecast 8° C, but then warmed up a bit.   The road outside is damp from earlier rain, but as I type this it is quite bright outside, and until I got halfway through this sentence there was some weak sunshine. It is now quite cloudy. It is possible sunny spells will return for the afternoon, and the rest of the day will be dry. At 1pm the temperature may peak at 16° C, but most of the afternoon will be just 15° C. As I type this it would seem to be 15° C already. Most of tonight and the early hours of tomorrow should be 14° C, and tomorrow may only rise to 15° C. Tomorrow should be dry with a fair amount of sunny spells.

  Only one main thing happened yesterday, but there were a few less main things, things to do with plumbing, and some of that has continued this morning (hence the late start writing this).   Yesterday had some real sunshine, but only for an hour or two. After that there were some sunny spells. The afternoon temperature peaked at about 14° C. Most of the day was dry, but the early evening saw some light rain.
  There was evidence of rain in the early hours, and I saw some drizzle at 8am. I think the heavy rain shown in the forecast for 7am was probably only light rain. Since then we have had some nice sunshine, and it seems more than just sunny spells. Maybe it is very long sunny spells and short dull periods. There some clouds and bits of blue sky to the north and south, but as far as I can guess (not bothering to go outside to check) it looks like blue sky directly overhead. The temperature may only peak at a cool 12° C forecast today, and even full sunshine won't keep the temperature up once the peak has passed. Tomorrow could be a little less cool. 15° C is forecast, but apart from maybe a few hours of sunny spells in the early afternoon, it will be a dull day, and the morning may feature an hour or more of light rain.

  Yesterday was not as awful as the day before (or was it the day before that ?), but a lot of yesterday was cold, damp, and rather grey. The temperature reached 15° C, then cooled off until rising back to 15° C at 7pm. It stayed there for a lot of the night.
  This morning has at around 13° C, and it is sunny. Before sunrise there must have been some rain because the road outside was looking very wet. A lot of the day will either feature sunshine or sunny spells, but maybe at 5pm it will cloud over, and we will get some light rain. From 11am until 4pm we should see sunny spells, although before 11am there could be (and is as I write this) full sunshine. The temperature could dip to 8° C during the night, but warm rain will mean it is warmer tomorrow morning. It should be only light rain, and may finish by 10am tomorrow. There will then by mostly sunny spells until the end of the afternoon. It will be a cool day with only 11° C forecast.

  I guess I allowed yesterday to be spoiled by waiting and waiting and waiting for my Amazon delivery. My box arrived at 4pm, but with not must more than an hour before it started getting dark, it felt like the day was almost over, and I didn't do anything at all once I had my freedom (from waiting).
