  After the previous dreadful day, yesterday was not bad. There was some full sunshine followed by sunny spells until almost sunset. The afternoon rose to 13° C, then cooled off until rising again at midnight.
  This morning has started grey and damp. The damp is from rain during the night, but (possibly) at 11am it will start to drizzle. Then there may be light rain until 2pm. Even then the rain won't have finished, and it will start again at 7pm. It will still only be light rain, but it may be enough to dampen the enthusiasm of any feral trick or treaters. The temperature will be up and down a couple of times today. There may be a couple of hours of 15° C late this morning, and then for much of the afternoon, and again from 7pm.  The latest revision to the forecast has now added two hours of thunderstorms in the early hours of tomorrow (although this could just be a sick Halloween joke by the BBC). Much of tomorrow may be dry and bright with an afternoon high of 14° C.

  Yesterday was not too bad a day, and some of it was quite good. The bright weather certainly added an extra sparkle to the day, although it still felt that I needed a coat when I went out. The evening was a pleasant boozy evening, and some good and not so good beers were drunk.   Yesterday was horrible, but maybe only up to mid afternoon...maybe. There was a bit of brightness first thing in the morning, but the sky seemed to cloud over in mere minutes, and then the rain started to fall. Most of the rain was fairly light, and some was just drizzle, but it was dark and cold, and the rain was very persistent. The forecast said it wouldn't stop until 7pm, but there may have been a few brief spells without rain a bit before that. During the middle of the day it seemed like it would never stop ! I suppose it was not that cold, but a maximum of just 13° C for a couple of hours didn't feel like much.
  After yesterday's doom and gloom it seemed double nice plus that this morning features non stop sunshine for a few hours, and then sunny spells almost to sunset. The day started at just 7° C, and the sunshine should warm it up to 13° C by 1pm. After that the temperature will dip a couple ofn degrees, but by 11pm it should be back up to 13° C....then te rain starts again. That rain may stop in the small hours of tomorrow, and tomorrow will/may start grey but dry. From 9am until midday there will be light rain or drizzle, but the afternoon may be mostly dry. The temperature may reach 15° C, and even under a grey sky that may not feel too bad.

  Yesterday's rain had a profound affect on me. In basic terms it meant I didn't really do much, and in less basic terms it still meant I didn't do much at all. I certainly did not go out in that non stop rain. That meant no pub at lunchtime, and no shopping after. It also meant I missed my first chance to try my new leather jacket out in the rain.   Apart from a bit of drizzle in the morning, yesterday featured many sunny spells, maybe even an hour of full sunshine, but it did start to cloud over later in the afternoon. The afternoon reached 14° C for several hours.
  There was some brightness this morning, but now it may have just started drizzling, or if not then the horrible grey sky says drizzle and even rain is not far away. There may be light rain from 10am until 6pm today. One oddity today is that the temperature is now at it's peak as I write this. It is currently 13° C, and by midday it will start to cool. By 8pm the sky may be clear, and then the temperature will sink very low, just 8° C by midnight. Tomorrow morning may start at 7° C (I must admit I expect lower), but it will start with full sunshine, and that may give way to just sunny spells at 1pm when the temperature will be up to 13° C.

  Yesterday was quite a good day. It is possibly a shame that I have not got any photo evidence of the productive day I had. The simple version is that I did more housework than I usually do in a month, or probably longer. It was hard work, and satisfying in a sort of masochistic way.   For some reason I kept thinking it was supposed to rain yesterday, but it was quite sunny, albeit only sunny spells. There were times when the sky looked threatening, but the dark looking clouds only covered maybe half the sky, and soon blew away. It was almost, but not quite, warm with an afternoon temperature of 13° C.
  This morning's weather forecast is not quite right. The drizzle forecast for about now has been and gone, and now we could have full sunshine if the clouds move one notch to the left where there is a huge patch of blue sky. I can see long contrails in dazzling white in that blue sky. The rest of the forecast may be right, or not, but we should be able to expect sunny spells, and maybe one single hour (midday) of full sunshine. From 5pm it will get a bit more cloudy, but by then the sun will have set, and any chance of more sunshine will have passed. The temperature may reach 14° C this afternoon, but by 8pm it will be down to 11° C and it will stick there to beyond midnight. There could be a small chance of rain then. Tomorrow may start with some sunny spells, but much of the day may see light rain. Curiously, the warmest hour may be 11am when it may reach 13° C, but the temperature will be 11 or 12° C for much of the day.

  Yesterday was quite a good day, although as I will soon moan about, there were some bad things about it. The bad things were self inflicted as I will soon explain, and they weren't really that bad in the end.  The big thing yesterday was that I went out for a fair walk.   Yesterday started out with bright sunshine, but before long the sky became cloudy, and we just had sunny spells. The sky continued to cloud over, and later in the afternoon we had some drizzle. That was followed by light rain until mid evening when it seemed to stop for the rest of the day. The highest temperature for yesterday was forecast to be just 10° C and that was only for a single hour at 1pm. However, the temperature started to rise late in the evening, and it may have risen to 11° C by 10pm, but by then I was not paying attention.
  This morning the temperature was 10° C, and we have sunny spells....although the current sunny spell seems to be lasting an awful long time. It is almost as if it is sunny. I can see a lot of blue patches of sky at the moment, and maybe it is going to be sunnier than forecast. Even if not, the forecast does say sunny spells for most of the daylight hours. It seems there are a couple of hours when the chance of rain reaches as high as 22%, but no rainfall is actually shown. Maybe the sunny spells will help the afternoon reach a moderately warm feeling 13° C. Tomorrow morning may see a couple of hours of drizzle, but from 10am we may get sunny spells, and the temperature may rise to 14° C.

  Yesterday was probably a fairly good day, but it also had a few downsides, although nothing of any tragedy. Getting my new leather jacket delivered quite early, and on a Sunday was a very good thing, but there is more to say about that later.   Yesterday featured a lot more sunshine than we have grown used to recently. The morning was quite sunny, but from mid morning there were only sunny spells. The afternoon may have reached just 11° C for one hour at 2pm, but 10° C was more typical.By midnight it was getting very cold, just 7° C and still falling.   It is another bright sunny morning, but the temperature was just 5° C at daybreak. Like yesterday, the sunshine will give way to sunny spells at about mid morning, and then grey skies from midday. Rain, mostly light rain or even drizzle may start at 3pm. At 1pm the temperature may briefly peak at 10° C, and then fall away to a low of 8° C at 6pm, but then it will rise again, and maybe reach 11° C by 11pm. Tomorrow may start at 10° C, and the temperature may rise to 13° C after almost not stop sunny spells. It may be a completely dry day tomorrow.

  Yesterday was a mix of good and bad. It was good that I got out to Tesco, and I got out to a gig in the evening, but the latter was good and bad as well. I'm glad I got there, but it was not the finest night. Even my photography was very substandard.   Yesterday morning was bright and sunny - almost not a single cloud in the sky, and that is why it was quite a chilly morning. The forecast said 6° C at 6am, and although I didn't check my own thermometers at that time, I can believe it. The sunshine gave way to just sunny spells before midday, but I think the sunny spells continued until sunset. The afternoon was not that warm - just 12° C. I did not go out to test it, but that probably didn't feel too bad in the sunshine.
  I didn't open the curtains until 9am this morning, but I think it was sunny before that. The forecast says only some sunny spells from 10am. Midday may be cloudy, but the sunny spells should resume soon after, and continue until sunset. Maybe it will be at 2pm, or maybe not, but the temperature may only peak at just 11° C today. Maybe it is time for long trousers again...or maybe not. The day should be dry, but light rain may fall from 11pm tonight. Tomorrow may start bright and sunny again, but it is going to be very cold. Just 5° C is forecast, and in sheltered spots we might even see a touch of frost. By midday we may lose any sunshine, and the temperature will rise no further than 9° C. From 3pm there will be light rain until about 9pm.  From 8pm the temperature may start to rise, and it could be 11° C by midnight.

  I have no idea how I seemed to start writing this so late. I did sleep a bit later this morning, but I was still up checking my weight and stuff before 8am, and it may have even been before 7am. Oh well, I have started now.

  I was going to do two things yesterday, and one of them was more important than the other. I did neither, but I did do two other things that were very useful, and in one case was getting close to important. These things will be described in due course.   Yesterday morning was most definitely very wet, but the rain seemed to stop earlier than forecast, and from about midday there was a long dry spell that may have only been interrupted by a shower at 5pm (but I can;t confirm that actually happened). The afternoon temperature only reached 12° C, and that, according to the forecast, but possibly not reality, for one single hour at 4pm. After that the temperature started to fall, and we had a very chilly night.   I checked the weather when getting up for a pee several times in the very early morning. At 3am the temperature was close to 5° C, and it looked like it could even far enough for a frost, but at some unknown time the temperature rose by about half a degree. This morning is, as forecast for once, nice and bright and sunny. By midday it might only be sunny spells, but they are good too. It should stay dry all day long, and the maximum temperature may be just 12° C. Tomorrow may start with some drizzle, but they may quickly dry up to give sunny spells for the whole day. It will be an even colder day with the temperature only reaching 10° C. By midnight the temperature could be down to 6° C, but the forecasts says that will feel like just 4° C. Frosty mornings will soon be here !

  Yesterday was one of those days that had it's moments, but was mostly not that good. The afternoon beer session with Jodie and Michael was not bad, and maybe it was enjoyable.   Until about 8pm, yesterday was a nice dry day, and there was even some warm sunshine. Curiously enough, the sunshine that seemed the warmest was when no sunshine was forecast, and when it was forecast I am no sure it the sun actually came out. 8pm was when the rain first started, and by 10pm it had gone from light rain to heavy rain. In the afternoon sunshine, with the sun on the back of my black leather jacket, it did feel very warm, but it was actually only 14° C.   There are two weather warnings for today. The first is about the heavy rain we have had this morning, although as I write this it seems to have stopped raining, but the horrible grey sky says it could start any minute now. The second weather warning is about strong winds between 8am and 11am. Gusts as high as 46mph are predicted. The temperature has now dropped to 9° C, which is a bit unusual, and sadly may only rise to 12° C for one single hour at 4pm. Tonight the temperature may drop to just 7° C quite just after midnight tonight, but tomorrow may start with full sunshine, and while it will never make it to warm, it should rise to 11° C by 1pm. Only three hours of light rain are forecast for tomorrow afternoon. It might be an almost OK sort of day..

  I think I could go as far as to say that yesterday was quite a good day, although I wouldn't go as far to say it was a really good day. It did involve one rather surprising good thing. It started getting good after I had had a shower, and had dressed to go out to the pub.   Yesterday was almost a dry day. Some light rain and drizzle was forecast, but I don't seem to remember anything more than one or two fairly brief showers. I do remember a short period of sunshine, although it might have been hazy sunshine. Despite the day starting at 12° C, and only reaching 15° C in the afternoon, it didn't seem to feel particularly cold.   Today we have a weather warning. I think it for heavy rain late tonight. My weather stations say the atmospheric pressure is low now, but rising, and the two I have checked say a sunny day is coming. Of course this contradicts the BBC weather forecast, but that means nothing ! We have had a fairly cold start, but the lowest I saw was about 10° C. It should rise to a mere 14° C this afternoon, and while it may look very dull and autumnal as I write this, some sunny spells are forecast. It could be 8pm before any rain starts, although the chart does say a 10% chance 2, 4 and 5pm. On reflection, the weather warning is obviously for tomorrow when torrential rain may fall for a lot of the day. To make it all more unpleasant the temperature may only reach 10° C in the afternoon, and much of the day will be just 9° C.

  There were some good and less good reasons why yesterday was not a good day. It was a day when any enthusiasm evaporated before the morning was over. That left a day that was mildly miserable, and nothing happened to lift the gloom and negative feelings.   Yesterday was a wet day - sometimes only light rain, and sometime heavy rain. There was less rain in the afternoon, and I am sure I remember at least one sunny spell in the afternoon. There was not even a distant hint of the thunderstorm that the BBC predicted for 11am, but what's new about that ? It was quite a cool day, although I think it felt less cold than the forecast, and seen on my thermometers, 14° C.   This morning has started out dry, and it may stay dry until 2pm. It should be dull as I write this (a bit later than intended), but we seem to be having sunny spells right now, and I cans ee many patches of blue sky. It may even be a bit warmer today. 15° C is forecast for this afternoon. Tomorrow may be dry until 8pm, and up to then there may be many sunny spells. Even with some rays of sunshine it will still only reach 14° C after a rather cold start of just 9° C.

  Yesterday was one of those days that was good and bad. I described my visit to the nurse after I came home yesterday. It too was good and bad, although I suppose it was actually mostly good. I think I was still feeling off kilter because of the after effects of my stomach upset.   After a dry start, that even had a short sunny spell or two, yesterday was generally a wet day. Most of the time it was just light rain, and I am unsure if I remember anything that might deserve to be called heavy rain. The afternoon, and also mid evening both had short peaks at 15° C, but more of the day was just 14° C.   Today is going to be very wet if the forecast turns out to be correct. There might even be a thundery shower, but that might just be the BBC getting carried away again (they like dropping the occasional false prediction of a thunderstorm). The whole of the middle of the day may see a high of 14° C, and the rest of the day just 13° C. Tomorrow will be mostly dull, but mid to late afternoon may see an occasional sunny spell. The whole day, except 3pm, when there could be light rain, will be dry...maybe....

  Yesterday seemed to be a fair day. With a fair probability that I have managed to order a couple of GTN sprays (which hopefully will be confirmed today) I no longer seemed to feel miserable, and I was looking forward to some beer drinking in the late afternoon - even if that did have a bad effect on my health (mainly my weight).   Despite all the promises of the weather forecast, yesterday was another dull day, although there was one occasion when some thin cloud let through some diffuse and watery sunshine through for at least 5 minutes. After 11° C in the morning it warmed up to a less than impressive 14° C. I used the heater a bit more than I liked yesterday.Once again it was a dry day.
  We have already had some sunshine this morning, and although there is a lot of cloud, it looks to be a bit streaky, and an occasional ray of sun may break through again.... On the other hand the forecasts says 11am will see drizzle, and from midday to 10pm there will be non stop light rain. The temperature may peak at 15° C for just one single hour at 2pm, and then again at 9 and 10pm. Most hours tomorrow may feature light rain, but 9am to midday could feature heavy rain. Tomorrow may only see a high of 14° C.

  Yesterday started with me feeling rather depressed, but that turned to optimism later. I hope I have found a way to skirt around the thing that made me feel very depressed.   Sunny spells were forecast for yesterday morning, but yesterday continued the trend of grey murky days. I can't recall a single ray of sunshine making it through the clouds. The temperature only rose from 11° C in the morning to 15° C, in the afternoon. The best thing I can think of was that it stayed dry.
  This morning has started off grey, as per the forecast, but the sky seems too grey to let any of the sunny spells through for the immediate future. Maybe we will get a sunny spells or two, but to me it looks like another in this depressing sequence of cool grey days. It should stay dry again, despite all that think cloud, and the afternoon may see a maximum of 14° C.

  Yesterday started with some feint optimism, but that was soon dashed, and yesterday was very depressing - and that has left it's mark on me.   Yesterday was another godforsaken grey, and miserable sort of day. The temperature only reached 15° C, but it was dry.
  We haven't actually seen any yet, but sunny spells are forecast for this morning. Judging by the murky grey sky, it seems unlikely we will see any sunshine at all today. However, the latest revision to the forecast says sunny spells right now and for 11am. There still seems to be zero chance of that. At least it should stay dry. With only 15° C expected later this afternoon, it is going to feel a bit cool today. The prediction for tomorrow is not only sunny spells, but possibly two hours, one in the morning, and one in the afternoon, may feature full sunshine (my guess is "no chance"). It should be another dry day, and feel cool again with a high of just 14° C.

  Yesterday was mostly dull, but there was a bit of mild excitement in the afternoon. I didn't seem to feel that good for a lot of yesterday, but beyond some tiredness I couldn't really say I had any other obvious symptoms. It was probably just the ongoing miserable weather.   Today is another in a too long series of grey and depressing days. With the temperature only reaching just 15° C it is going to be cold and miserable. The only solace is that it should stay dry, but maybe some pouring rain with a temperature of 20° will be a little cooler with a max of only 14° C expected, but, just for a change, we may see some sunny spells.

  In contrast to the previous few or more days, yesterday was an interesting day when at least one important thing was done. It was a day that brought good and bad news.   Today is another in a too long series of grey and depressing days. With the temperature only reaching just 14° C it is going to be cold and miserable. The only solace is that it should stay dry, but maybe some pouring rain with a temperature of 20° C would be a better day. Tomorrow might possible see a sunny spells at 6pm, but the rest of the day is forecast to be dull, gloomy and depressing. It will be a little less cold though - a whole 1° C warmer at 15° C !

  Yesterday was a day when very little happened, and so there is not a lot to write about it. This is handy because I am short of time this morning. As mentioned yesterday, I am due at the Hospital for an appointment with the Cardiologist(s) at 11:10am, and I need a shower before I get dressed to go out.   As the headline for yesterday's forecast said, there was light cloud and a gentle breeze all day long. Despite a couple of hours shown with a small chance of rain, it was a dry day. Most of the afternoon was just 16° C, but I have no idea if just 4pm managed 17° C, as shown in the forecast.    As I write this it feels a lot like yesterday - grey and dull. One change is that today the forecast says the clouds will be a darker shade of grey, and that seems to be correct. Today day started at 12° C, and so the nights are not yet getting seriously cold. By 2pm the temperature will reach it's peak of just 15° C. Maybe time to think about long trousers again ! No rain is forecast for today, and neither is a single ray of sunshine. The temperature may go down to 11° C tonight, and with another very grey day forecast, the afternoon temperature tomorrow may only reach 15° C again. Once again it should be a completely dry day.

  After finding my weight had risen by a full kilogram yesterday morning, the main aim for yesterday was to get my weight back down again - which I did, but not nearly enough. I was lucky I achieved what I did because it was quite a boring day - mainly thanks to the horrid grey sky, and grey light.   Apart from the early morning mist, which was very light mist, yesterday was sort of nondescript. The forecast said sunny spells, but I don't seem to remember them as all that obvious. Most of the afternoon was probably just 15° C, but there may have been a brief blip to 16° C. I am very sure it was, as forecast, a completely dry day.
  As I write this it feels a lot like yesterday - grey and dull. This time the forecast does say it will be grey and dull all day long ! While most of the afternoon will be just 16° C, there may be another single hour (like yesterday) when the temperature increases by a singe degree to 17° C in the afternoon. I note that there is a 16% chance of rain at 2pm, and a 9% chance at 4pm. The chances are that it will be another dry day. Tomorrow will be roughly the same as today, although no hours show more than a 0% chance of any rain. Sods law says it will pour down !

  The beer tasting session in the afternoon leaves the rest of the day a pale shadow of the afternoon, and even the beer tasting was not a great event. Yesterday was mostly boring, but boring is not always such a negative thing. It does mean I have more to say about my dreams than anything else, but I'll try and scrape a few words together.   The forecast for yesterday said sunny spells in the morning, but in reality the clouds still seemed too thick at midday. From 2pm full sunshine was forecast, and I can't seem to remember any sunshine then, but maybe I was preoccupied and wasn't looking out the window. The afternoon was forecast to reach 16° C, and I think that was right. It was also a dry day.
  There was a very light mist early this morning, but it did not reveal the sun when it lifted. Even now, many hours later, the sky is 100% nasty grey. The chance of sunny spells seems rather thin at the moment, but fingers crossed. This afternoon, like the last few days, may only see a high of 16° C, and once again, only for a single hour. It looks like it will be another very cool night....or maybe not. The forecast for tomorrow has the day starting at 13° C, and it is forecast to be a completely grey day tomorrow, but it still might reach 17° C in the afternoon.

  Yesterday was a day when I managed to do three important things that I was not sure I could do, or wanted to do. It made for a very satisfactory day. Although I don't think it has been cured, it does seem I have regained control of my ear/balance problem, and that was the key to doing two of the things I did.    Yesterday, as forecast, was a dull day - sometimes depressingly dull. I can't recall a single ray of sunshine breaking through the cloud. Like recent days, the afternoon still reached 17° C, and it was dry all day.   My weather stations, like the BBC and Met Office forecasts, predict sunshine, but I can see a single bit of blue sky yet. As I write this it is a dull as yesterday was, but maybe we will get some sunny spells before the morning is over, and from 2pm we may get the forecast full sunshine. It should be another dry day, despite the current cloud cover, but today's maximum temperature may only be 16° C. Apart from tomorrow possibly starting with mist, and the temperature only reaching a maximum of 17° C for a single hour, it may well seem to be exactly the same as today.

  Yesterday was not an exciting day. In fact I think I could describe it as quite dull. I think I accidently lied when I said I was fighting fit yesterday, or maybe that was before I had washed and dressed, and had time to stop and think about it. I actually felt a bit rough yesterday.    The forecast said that yesterday would be a bright day. It certainly started with full sunshine, but that changed to sunny spells, and I remember that there could be long spells between the sunny spells - enough to make it feel a bit drab for a while. The afternoon temperature managed 17° C.   It is currently dull, and it seem that is how the whole day is going to be. It says it will be dry, and the temperature should reach 17° C again. It's not really an inspiring sort of day. Tomorrow should see a return to sunny spells, and possibly even two hours of full sunshine (but not two consecutive hours). No rain seems to be forecast, and the wind looks like it will be very light - good enough to go shopping, but not for any enjoyable outdoor activities.

  I can't decide to say whether yesterday was a good, bad, or indifferent day. I guess it was mostly indifferent, except for one exciting moment, but more about that later. There is not a lot to say about most of yesterday, and I am so behind in writing this that I think I'll skip most of the stuff I might have said about yesterday.    Yesterday was a dull day, but it was dry, and was almost mild with much of the afternoon 17° C. There were a few sunny spells at 6pm - just as the sun was about to set. The forecast said that by 2am, the next day, the temperature would be down to 10° C.   This morning has started at 10° C, and strong sunshine (well maybe not that strong while the sun was so low in the sky). We can hope for sunny spells for the rest of today, and the afternoon temperature should reach 17° C. Tomorrow will start, and remain cloudy. That means that the day will start at about 12° C, a degree or two higher than today, but afternoon will still only reach 17° C. Under a dull grey sky that could feel quite cool. The only saving grace may be that the wind looks like it could be very light, and there is currently zero chance of any rain.

  Yesterday didn't happen - or I didn't end up writing anything. I did start to write, but I got off to a late start, and then I got a message from my sister asking how I was. I didn't have to reply there and then, but I thought I may as well get it out of the way.    Yesterday was another sunny day, or at least a fair amount of it was. It was also warm with the temperature peaking at 19° C. It did cool down quite a lot after dark - which started at 6:27pm. The days are getting shorter and shorter !
  The cloud seems too thick to let any sunshine through, but maybe it will break up soon. The temperature today peaks at  18° C at 6pm, and coincidently it is the single hour when we may get full sunshine - if the forecast is correct (which seeing as it says sunny spells now, and it is light grey instead, it is unlikely). Tomorrow may start at just 11° C, and until early evening, there will be no sign of the sun (a bit like today). After a grey day the temperature tomorrow may only peak at 17° C, and may not reach that until 4pm.

  Yesterday was a different sort of day to many recent days. It could have easily been boring, and I would end up doing nothing. Fortunately I found I fell down a big hole, and didn't surface again until dinner time.    Yesterday featured a lot of sunshine, although much of it was as sunny spells. It was a dry day, and the temperature peaked at 16° C. The temperature was forecast to fall to 11° C before midnight, but I think there was just enough cloud to stop it falling too far.   By my reckoning, checking all 3 of my outside thermometers, it was more like 13° C than the forecast 11° C start to the day. The sky was clear, and still is. That should have meant two things - a very cold start, that didn't happen, and full on sunshine this morning, and that did, and is happening. The forecast says full sunshine was only supposed to start at midday. The extra sunshine may mean this afternoon could be even warmer than the very pleasant 19° C that is forecast. Once again it will be a completely dry day, as should tomorrow, but tomorrow may only see sunny spells instead of full sunshine. The current prediction shows a high of just 17° C for tomorrow.

  It would be easy to describe yesterday as another lazy day, and I suppose a lot of it was, but there were moment of activity - including one bit of activity that was most definitely unplanned and unwanted. As I wrote yesterday, I started the day feeling horrible - like a storm was approaching - but that seemed to fade after a while, and I could have done stuff, but didn't.    The big weather feature yesterday was the wind. Through the morning, and the afternoon, up to 4pm, it was very windy. Apparently there was a tree blown down somewhere that caused delays to the trains though Catford Bridge station. Having ventured out in it for a short while, I can confirm the prediction I made yesterday, it did feel very chilly in that wind. The air temperature only rose to 14° C in the afternoon, and the wind made it feel even colder - maybe just 10° C.   This morning has started bright and sunny. The sky still looks mostly clear (in the small view through the window next to my PC), and it seems that the change to just sunny spells, predicted for 9am could happen later. The day should be dry, and the wind may be just a "moderate breeze". The afternoon should see the temperature reach 16° C.  Tomorrow may start at just 11° C, but the sunny spells followed by full sunshine (the opposite to today) should warm things up to a very pleasant 19° C.

  I can't say I was feeling that dynamic yesterday, but I did manage to go out shopping. In fact saying "I did manage" makes it sounds like it was a big chore. In reality it was only one notch short of quite pleasant. It was generally only spoiled by the strong wind.    Yesterday was a dull, wet and thoroughly miserable sort of day. The afternoon temperature only barely reached 17° C
  This morning the sky is almost clear blue, and there is full strength sunshine. If the forecast is correct it will soon decline to just sunny spells, but they should last for most of the day, but not all of it. The afternoon temperature may only reach 14° C, and gale force winds will make it feel even colder when outside. The wind should die down over night. Tomorrow may start at just 10° C. The morning may feature some sunshine or sunny spells, but tomorrow afternoon could be dull, although it will be a fraction warmer/less cold with 15° C expected.

  I think yesterday's weather was responsible for not only make it grey, wet, and miserable outside, but the sight of it, through the windows, meant it was a miserable day inside. I ended up doing very little yesterday, but I did do a couple of useful things.   There was more sunshine and sunny spells forecast for yesterday than we actually got. However, there was some sunshine and sunny spells, and the temperature rose to 19° C in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon we seemed to get some light rain that didn't appear in the forecast.
  Today is going to be a wet day. It may only be light rain, but the forecast says it will last the whole day long. To add to the misery there are strong gales forecast for 8 to 10pm. The temperature may still reach 17° C, and maybe even 18° C, but the latter is only shown for for one single hour at 10pm.  Tomorrow is going to be cooled a lot by more very strong winds all morning, and half of the afternoon. There may be some sunny spells, and even a bit of full sunshine, but the temperature may only reach 14° C, and with little sunshine it is going to feel a bit cold.

  I guess I could be generous and say yesterday was another good day, although it would be more accurate to say there weren't any bad things about yesterday. In fact a lot of yesterday could be described as neutral. The best thing would have been managing to lose a bit of weight even after a boozy afternoon.   The forecast for yesterday was not terribly good, but the day didn't seem too bad. There should have been some sunny spells in the morning, but it was mostly dull. The temperature still managed to reach a comfortable, although not exactly warm 17° C. I think I remember a few sunny spells in the afternoon, but not enough to make the afternoon much better than the dull morning.
  The clouds are currently like a thin misty haze, and the sun is just about shining through. The forecast say we should be getting full sunshine now, but unless that misty cloud layer burns off it is going to be "soft focus" sunshine. This afternoon should see 19° C for a couple of hours. From midday to sunset the forecast predicts just sunny spells, but if the sun has fully broken through by then it might look and feel OK. Today should be dry, but rain may start to fall after midnight. That rain could continue all through tomorrow. As well as being wet, the temperature may only rise to 17 ° C.

  Yesterday mostly felt like a good day, but this morning I discovered it had been a bad day. The worst thing is that I don't really understand why it should have been as bad as it was.   Yesterday's forecast said full sunshine, and that was approximately true until maybe mid afternoon when it got a bit cloudy. The temperature probably did peak at 19° C, but I don't know for how long, and maybe not at 4pm as per the forecast.
  The first of October has started in an autumnal way. So far it has been mostly dull, and I did spot a few drops of rain falling, although that seems to have stopped now. The big unknown is whether this afternoon will feature the forecast sunny spells. The afternoon is forecast to only reach 17° C. The nights are getting colder, and by the end of this month we will probably see the first frosts. Tomorrow may start at 11° C, the same as this morning, but the day may feature more sunshine, mostly as sunny spells, and that could warm the afternoon up to 19° C. Tomorrow could end with rain, although the forecast only shows drizzle and light rain.

  Maybe only with the benefit of hindsight, but yesterday was another good day. Less good was that I seemed to take a long time to recover from my long walk the day before. I seemed to feel quite tired through the day, but not the sort of tired where I could have long, or indeed any snoozes.
